Thomas Story's name appears on the North Williamstown Presbyterian Church (now St Stephens).
Gunner Thomas Story was admitted to hospital with gas poisoning in November 1917.
His friend L Vagg who was 'On active Service’ wrote in personal notices 'Death broke a friendship which nought else could sever'.
In 1922 Williamstown Town Clerk requested the date of death.
