Additional Information
Private Hector Sheeran sailed on the HMAT A70 Ballarat which was torpedoed by a submarine in the English Channel, 25 April 1917 and sank the next day. All 1720 on board survived.
Private Sheeran's brother, Edward Aubrey Sheeran (11) enlisted 11/8/1915 in the Army Field Post Office and returned to Australia 5/4/1919
